Now ninjaVideo is bringing you the beloved Football.
As this is only a test project your opinions will matter.

- What are your views on the current matches / highlights that we currently are doing?

-What would you like to see less of?

-What would you, the viewers, like to see more of?

-Are they any sports in particular that you would like to see?

NO requests this is just feedback !!

First of all, cheers to you, ricky, for bringin football to ninjavideo!
I was soo excited to see Match of the Day and the "Re-lives" from the EPL matches. And you also upped Dortmund VS. Bayern, which was quite an interesting match to watch again.

I hope the fottball section already gets enough love to be continued on ninja.

Now to the questions...

1.: I think you chose the matches very well, since ManCity VS Arsenal was a really great game in many ways. Also 12p-Spurs taking on the champions. Just great!
2. -
3. Personally, beeing from Germany, i'd like to see more of the Bundesliga. But the EPL is without a doubt the best league in the world and therefore deserves more attention. (no request)
4. More football :D

Love that football is on the mainsite:

- Top matches are great, I loved that Munich-Dortmund was put up as well, but
- I don't watch full matches unless they are live, so I don't need full matches.
- I would love to have highlight shows of all the major european leagues: England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France
- Basketball highlights would be awesome too.

Edit: Totally forgot about ChampionsLeague --> A highlight show of that would be so great!
I know others don't consider this sport, but: Poker Videos (happy)

Love the idea, to put up sports. My question is as follows: Is there a chance of NFL matches going up?
Recently taken a shine to it, but they really keep their viewing options to themselves in the U.S.

Concerning the live matches: When I don't know the result of the match, I absolutely like to watch a match in re-live. Watching Fulham VS Everton right now. Thanks again!

Edit: A while ago, I made a banner for Match of the Day. I posted it in the "banners for the mainsite-thread"

I think its fantastic, just when I think the site cant get any better BAM!..football on the mainsite. The only suggestions I can think of is maybe Revista De La Liga, the spanish equivalent of match of the day on sky sports. Other than that epic work.

first of all a very very big up for having all these football matches on the site. i think it is an excellent way forward for this site. sports is really the final frontier as music, tv and movies are well covered. as far as suggestions are concerned:

1) you don't have to put up all the matches, unless of course you want to. but i think that if you could put up the full matches of the top 5 teams from the premier league which are (in no order): liverpool, man u, arsenal, chelsea, city, then i think that is more than enough and would be much appreciated.

2) match of the day is a great way to catch up on all the rest of the matches so that's a good idea

3) perhaps in the future, if and when hopefully football viewing picks up on ninja, there could be one or two of the big champions league matches as well.

But overall i think it is an excellent idea and one that should be commended. If you guys need any help in uploading or finding matches let me know as im going back to the uk in two ro three weeks and i have  apretty fast connection there so can help out if and when required.

Since I saw Hard Knocks here on Ninja, I'd take a look at american football, if available. But as Kowtow already mentioned, not the whole games, but perhaps some highlight show?
And then, Basketball ofc!!! (heart)
I think it's great, that Ninja expands its variety so much! I have not the slightest Idea, how you guys do it, but you have my utmost respect!

first: i think its awesome you try to cover some soccer!!!!
But i think with at least 3 good divisions (Engl, Es, Ger) it will be hard to cover
all matches including CL etc. etc.
So i would rather say focus on summaries (prop the wrong term) ...i mean round ups and some highlight matches (90min)!!

The german round up is called "alle spiele alle tore" but hopefully you can find some english equivalent!!

soooooo... thanks anyhow!

1. I think it is awesome that you are putting up soccer. One of things i hate about the cable where i live is that there is only 2 soccer games a week and that they are on @ 6 am Saturday morning. When i saw this i actually cheered. When my dad gets back from camping I believe he will cheer as well.
2. Personally i think less soccer is never a good thing...
3. I was hoping that you might get a chance to put some champions league games up because along with EPL these are the funnest games to watch in my opinion.(i dont know if this is a request or not...) also if it would be possible to put the date the game was played after the title? i dont know if that is too much to ask...
4. Soccer and basketball are the only sports i watch on a regular basis and north america gets plenty of basketball on tv as is.

i positively love the idea of football matches. its the only sport i like to watch. even more if you had USA and Mexico games from world cup.
id be willing to watch the whole match since i dont check the scores that often.

but i think these game lose alot of value over time. i think if you only kept the most recent one and delete lets say games older then two weeks, this wouldnt take up much of your server space. similar to the toniteshow with conan obrien, i saw u posted that and i had been hoping you guys would start doing the late night round up, conan-fallon-ferguson-kimmel for a while now(i usually have to dl them and there not to easy to find), but i can imagine how shows that run on a daily basis would be added strain and start taking up space since they also lose alot of value over time. similar to my football suggestion if you had only the most recent ones i think it would be tits.

Thank you NINJA! This is a wonderful addition to the site...really, thank you.

Football is a great sport and the EPL is my preferred league, it is nice however to have the choice to watch the occasional German, Spanish and Italian leagues as well. I agree with the top 5 being emphasized but really I'll take them as they come! My (ex)-satellite provider was a bitch with ordering the Football so I am ecstatic to be able to follow the EPL on my preferred TV provider -  (ninjawhite)
I also think that Champions league matches would be a really nice add. Super.

<3 Ninja! Thank you! I struggle trying to find the spanish matches everywhere because my cable company doesnt play them (at least not all just very VERY few), so again THANKS :D

- What are your views on the current matches / highlights that we currently are doing?

I havent seen them yet but Ill load them later tonite when my internet doesnt hate me and it gets faster ;D I am really happy there is the highlights, for those games I am interested to watch and not having enough time to do so ;P

-What would you like to see less of?

The more options to watch things the better :D, so I dont have a real answer for this question he-he

-What would you, the viewers, like to see more of?

MOAR FUTBOL!!.. jk I guess an answer to this could be "those friendly matches that happen once in a while with fun teams to watch, like an EU team vs a Latin American team etc"

-Are they any sports in particular that you would like to see?

Nope I think you got it covered! :P

F1 = check (they are sitting but id like to call it a sport he)
 Futbol = check
 Tennis = check

Again thank you for everything Ninjas!

PS: ooooh.. one cool thing that could be done is to create a lil extra tab for sports ^^ like:

| Home | TV Shows | Movies | Cartoons | SPORTS YEAH! | Docu... etc :D

This is made of pure epic win. I just had to say that.

Love seeing football focus and MOTD up there. And La Liga.

I'd say less golf but that's just me, apparently it's popular.

Once again: Thank you. (sun) (heart) (sun) Maybe now hubby will understand why I'm obsessed with NV! (giggle)

- What are your views on the current matches / highlights that we currently are doing?
I like the idea that ninjavideo is diversifying and presenting more sports like football and golf. There's a strong fan base for this kinda thing and its not really shown on the internet without having to pay or subscribe. I like the choices you've made with creating the sub catergories of La Liga, Fifa World Cup and the Premier league.

-What would you like to see less of?
Nothing.... except "wrestling" but again I reckon there's a lot of folks who watch it. Although I do have some serious reservations about classing it as a sport.

-What would you, the viewers, like to see more of?
Just keep moving forward the way you guys are doing.e.g.  see which sports get lots of hits etc. I presume the majority of viewers will not participate on the board in feedback like this, so maybe the best way is to try out different sports for a couple of weeks and see what brings in the viewers.
 and more bicycling vids

-Are they any sports in particular that you would like to see?
Stuff like the X-games and Moto GP ,also maybe a weekly sports recap  show like Transworld Sports (not sure if its still around but it had all the big sports and some weird little other ones). I've also noticed that good coverage of the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB seems hard and harder to find in Europe over the last few years. I do like the weekly recap shows of most sports as it helps get a good idea of whats going.

thanks and hope this feedback helps

Huge thanks and props to Ricky and Ninja for putting up Premier & La Liga. I damn near lost it when I first saw the mainsite post warning of more to come. Full length matches are great, us in the States don't get a chance to watch very many games so this is the shizzle rizzle.

- What are your views on the current matches / highlights that we currently are doing?
See above :D

-What would you like to see less of?
My sociology professor

-What would you, the viewers, like to see more of?
Whatever you guys have to offer. The timing of adding football matches was the shit, I had been looking for a way to pick up premier & la liga games and didn't care to pay the $12/month for setana feeds online and then Ninja pops up with them!

-Are they any sports in particular that you would like to see?
Funky ones, like cricket and badminton or some really far out sport people play that most might not be aware of.
