How To: Change the Start Menu Power Button Function in Vista

We all know that when you first try and shutdown Vista the Power button on he Start menu actually puts it to sleep......

Well here's the solution.

Click on:


Quote
Start Menu

Quote
Control Panel

Quote
System and Maintenance

Quote
Power Options

Quote
Then choose whichever power option you want

Quote
Change Plan settings

Quote
Change Advanced Power settings
Simply change the Power Button setting to whatever you want!!!!

THANKYOU I just got Vista a few days ago and I don't like to put my computer in sleep mode; that power button in the start menu was useless until now :D
